We are looking for a discreet, well-organised, and proactive Personal Assistant for our Managing Director. Someone who excels not only in administration, but also thinks ahead, plans proactively, and brings structure to the fast-moving fresh produce sector. As Personal Assistant, you support the Managing Director (MD) in the broadest sense. You ensure the MD’s day runs smoothly so they can fully focus on the strategic and operational leadership of the company.
What will you do?You will be responsible for, among other things:
- Managing a complex calendar, switching quickly and continuously thinking ahead.
- Preparing, scheduling, and minute-taking for meetings.
- Filtering, responding to, and structuring incoming emails and communications.
- Organising (international) business travel, trade fairs, and client visits (booking flights, reserving hotels, arranging transfers, …).
- Acting as the first point of contact and liaison for internal and external stakeholders.
- Supporting projects, strategic files, and confidential documents.
- Preparing presentations, reports, and internal communications.
- Ad hoc support where flexibility and discretion are key.
- You are hands-on, solution-oriented, and feel at home in an entrepreneurial culture.
- You are proactive with a strong eye for detail.
- You work accurately, handle stress well, and always keep oversight.
- You are discreet, reliable, and adept at handling confidential information.
- You have excellent organisational and communication skills.
- You don’t have a strict 9-to-5 mentality.

- You hold a bachelor’s degree or have equivalent experience.
- You have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- You are proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- You have excellent command of Dutch and English and can manage well in French;
Spanish is a plus. - Affinity with or experience in the fresh produce sector (fruit and vegetables) is an advantage.
