Regular Schedule
40 hours per week, with some mandatory overtime on evenings and weekends during the Election year.
Responsibilities- Assists in the hiring of election judges and schedules their training.
- Assists in proofreading processed batches of registration.
- Prioritizes data processing tasks to assure timely completion in accordance with office policies and procedures.
- Responsible for voter registration applications.
- Assists with special projects including mass mailings, petitions, redistricting, verifications, voter education, canvass election, packing judge supplies, and surveys.
- Maintains and secures files daily.
- Assists with the preparation and conduct of elections to meet all deadlines, including but not limited to processing voter registration, provisional ballots, record retention, reports, certificates and other information in accordance with Local, State and Federal laws.
- Operates office machinery, photocopiers, fax machines, and calculators.
- Updates and maintains filing systems, lists, log books and rosters.
- Answers routine inquiries from the public or directs inquiries to the proper agency.
- Collects and compiles technical data and prepares summary statistics.
- Performs occasional light typing or word processing.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Possession of a high school diploma or an appropriate high school equivalency.
- One year's general clerical experience.
- (Additional experience as described in the essential duties may be substituted on a year‑for‑year basis for the required education. Additional education may be substituted on a year‑for‑year basis for the required experience.)

Conditions of EmploymentMust be available to work 40 hours per week with some mandatory overtime on evenings and weekends during the Election year.
Physical and Environmental ConditionsThe work of this position involves special physical demands such as lifting 50 pounds or more, climbing ladders, etc.
