- Neonatologist position at University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center within University of Maryland Faculty Physicians. This role performs professional duties and technical procedures in neonatology to provide examination and treatment of patients.

Performs professional duties and technical procedures of the specialty to provide examination and treatment of patients. Orders and analyzes appropriate tests and procedures to provide information on patient’s condition; and other duties as assigned.

• Doctoral degree in Medicine in area of specialty
• 3-5 years of clinical experience
• CPR required
• ACLS/BCLS required
• Board certification/eligibility in area of specialty
• Demonstrated ability to promote professionalism through involvement in professional organizations, teaching, research, and/or publishing
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patient population served; knowledge of growth and development principles and the ability to assess data relevant to age-specific needs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with patients, families, departmental units, and medical/nursing staff

Salary range from $220K-$270K. The base salary range represents the low and high end of University of Maryland’s Faculty Physician’s Inc. salary range for this position. Exact salary will depend on factors including location, skills, experience, market conditions, internal equity, and qualifications.
