Primary Care​/Family Medicine - MD

• Current licensure as an MD/DO to practice in the State of Illinois preferred
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in physician specialty. If Board Eligible at the time of hire, must be Board Certified within 3 years of hire date.

Hamilton Memorial Hospital District is seeking a highly qualified primary care or family medicine physician for Rural Health Clinics (RHC) in McLeansboro and Carmi, Illinois. The physician would join an established outpatient-only practice, which currently includes two Physicians and five Advanced Practitioners.

Position highlights:

• $220,000+ base salary plus additional compensation opportunity

• Hamilton Memorial Hospital District is a 25-bed critical access hospital located in McLeansboro, Illinois
• Hamilton Memorial Hospital District offers a wide range of services, including transitional care swing bed services, outpatient surgical services, ancillary services, and diagnostic services
• Emergency services are available 24 hours a day in our 5-bed emergency department
• Hamilton Memorial Family Clinic is attached to Hamilton Memorial Hospital District. A satellite clinic is located in Carmi, Illinois, a community located 20 minutes east of Mc Leansboro
• Specialty care presence is offered through clinics including behavioral health, cardiology, general surgery, nephrology, podiatry, and wound care
