Are you passionate about helping preschoolers build the confidence and skills they need for kindergarten? We are looking for a dedicated, creative, and nurturing 4-Year-Old Teacher to provide a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and a love of learning.

• Create a fun, safe, and engaging classroom that prepares children for kindergarten.
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with the center's curriculum.
• Foster children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development.
• Encourage critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving, and independent learning.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and fellow educators.
• Complete lesson plans, child assessments, required documentation, and classroom responsibilities.

• High School Diploma or GED required (college coursework or degree preferred)
• CDA, Credential, or Preschool Qualification Evaluation (PQE) preferred or required based on position
• Required Maryland Office of Child Care (OCC) training, including:
  • 45 Hours Child Growth & Development
  • 45 Hours Methods & Materials
  • 9 Hours Communication
  • Basic Health & Safety
  • Developmental Screening
  • American with Disabilities Act (ADA) Training
  • Emergency Preparedness
  • Medication Administration
  • Pediatric First Aid & CPR
• Must meet all Maryland Office of Child Care (OCC) teacher qualification requirements.

• Passion for early childhood education and kindergarten readiness.
• Patient, creative, organized, and flexible.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
