Do you enjoy working with young children and helping them learn, grow, and thrive? We are looking for a caring, dependable, and energetic Teacher Aide to support our teaching team in creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment. In this role, you ll help foster children s development through hands-on activities, positive interactions, and daily classroom support while making a meaningful impact in their early learning journey.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, fun, and engaging learning environment.
- Assist with daily classroom activities, lessons, and routines for young children.
- Encourage children s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and positive interactions.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom.
- Provide individualized care and support, including meals, diapering, toileting, and rest time as needed.
- Monitor children s progress, complete basic classroom documentation, and communicate effectively with the teaching team.
- Step into the Lead Teacher role when needed and contribute to a positive, collaborative classroom culture.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma, GED, or college coursework from an accredited institution required.
- Must complete 24 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) annually to maintain compliance.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to accurately document and share child development information.
- Knowledge of inclusive early childhood education practices.
- Understanding of child abuse and neglect reporting requirements.
- Commitment to providing a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for every child.
Must be prepared to undergo medical examination, drug test, and background check
