Located on our historic campus in Towson, Maryland, Sheppard Pratt School and Residential Treatment Center (RTC) is a Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) approved, level V nonpublic school. We offer a year-round therapeutic educational and residential program catering to youths ages 12-18 with emotional and behavioral challenges. Our comprehensive program offers structured community and recreational activities alongside full-day special and general education schooling.
WhatTo Expect
You will play a crucial role in facilitating the admissions process for prospective students and their families or caregivers. You will use your strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and passion for advocating for students to ensure a smooth transition into our programming.
Specific responsibilities include:- Providing support and guidance to families or caregivers as they navigate the admissions process, including answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Conducting initial screenings and assessments of prospective students to determine eligibility and fit.
- Communicating with referral sources regarding openings, admissions requirements, and progress of admitted students.

Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, education and years and level of related experience.
What We Need From You- 1 of the following combinations of education and experience
- High school diploma or GED and 5 years of program admissions experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2 years of relevant experience.
