Overview
Contract-to-Hire
We are seeking a Controls Engineer to design and support SCADA-based control systems for industrial facilities. This role includes system design from concept through startup and occasional regional travel (up to ~20%, likely less).
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
- 3+ years of experience in instrumentation and controls design.
- PLC programming experience.
- Experience with water/wastewater or liquid-processing industries (chemical, food, pharmaceutical, refinery, etc.).
- Design instrumentation and control systems, including control panels and SCADA.
- Program and integrate PLC systems (Allen-Bradley, Modicon, GE Fanuc).
- Develop HMI/SCADA graphics.
- Design control panels using AutoCAD and prepare submittals.
- Apply instrumentation for level, flow, analytical, and pressure measurement.
- Coordinate with consulting engineers and support system startup.
