Systems Engineer Level 2 – Dev Ops

Location: Annapolis Junction, MD
Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph Required
Start Date: Immediate

We are seeking a Systems Engineer Level 2 with a strong Dev Ops and systems administration (SA) background to support mission‑critical infrastructure in a secure environment. The role involves maintaining, automating, and optimizing systems using modern Dev Ops tools and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supporting similar programs and contracts of comparable scope and complexity.

• Fourteen (14) years of experience as a Systems Engineer (SE) on programs of similar size, scope, and complexity

• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related field from an accredited college or university

  • Additional five (5) years of SE experience may be substituted for the degree requirement

• Strong system administration background
• Proficiency with Linux operating systems
• Experience with scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, etc.)
• Familiarity with AWS and cloud infrastructure services
• Hands‑on Dev Ops experience
• Experience with Terraform and/or Ansible for infrastructure automation and configuration management

• Work in a highly secure environment supporting critical Intelligence Community missions
• Collaborate with skilled engineers on innovative, impactful projects
• Gain exposure to the latest tools and technologies in cloud and Dev Ops engineering
