DCCA is a veteran‑owned IT business that delivers advanced technical solutions to government agencies. We are looking for a Systems Engineer 3 - HPC to support the HPC team’s architecture and engineering efforts.
Systems Engineer 3 - HPCCandidate must have an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. The role involves developing and maintaining architectural direction for HPC systems, developing, testing, and integrating HPC solutions, and providing end‑to‑end systems engineering services through the HPC development and acquisition life‑cycle.
Responsibilities- Develop test and configuration management strategies for each system.
- Contribute to or deliver systems engineering documentation at program and system levels (e.g., FRD/SRD, Security CONOPs).
- Propose and evolve HPC architecture concepts and features, ensuring alignment with strategic plans and commercial vendor roadmaps.
- Analyze and document alternatives among competing architectures; justify architectural elements based on mission applications and proxies.
- Produce detailed architecture documentation, including descriptions, diagrams, and performance justifications.
- Specify and analyze processor/accelerator technology, interconnect and networking performance, memory capacity/bandwidth, storage hierarchy, and HPC‑facing network structure.
- Evaluate manufacturability, reliability, availability, serviceability, and sustainability of proposed solutions.
- Establish and support the mission‑application performance of each architecture concept, using abstract modeling where appropriate.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and CAMEO.
- Certifications:
CompTIA Security+ and CompTIA Network+.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Background in high‑performance computing and enterprise architecture.
- Strong systems engineering background.
Salary range (Maryland): $120,000 – $200,000. The benefit package includes healthcare, retirement plan, disability and life insurance, paid and unpaid leave, education assistance, and wellness initiatives.
