The Systems Administrator will support mission‑critical Information Technology (IT) systems, implementing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and operating IT infrastructure for client/server, storage, network, and mobile environments. The role works closely with users, internal teams, and agency stakeholders to ensure system reliability, performance, and availability.
Responsibilities- Provide support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure
- Manage IT system infrastructure and associated processes
- Perform day‑to‑day system operations, monitoring, and problem resolution across client/server, storage, network, and mobile devices
- Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) support, including problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution
- Assist users in accessing and using IT systems
- Support escalation and communicate system status to agency management and internal customers
- Support dispatch systems and hardware troubleshooting through resolution
- Configure, manage, and maintain UNIX and Windows operating systems
- Install and load operating system software and apply enhancements to improve reliability and performance
- Optimize system operations and resource utilization
- Perform system capacity analysis and planning
- System Administrator – Level 1
- Five (5) years of experience as a System Administrator on programs of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university OR five (5) additional years of System Administration experience may be substituted for the degree
- System Administrator – Level 2
- Ten (10) years of experience as a System Administrator on programs of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university OR five (5) additional years of System Administration experience may be substituted for the degree
- System Administrator – Level 3
- Fifteen (15) years of experience as a System Administrator on programs of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university OR five (5) additional years of System Administration experience may be substituted for the degree
- US citizenship and an active security clearance required
Pay Range: $49,996.80 - $
Pay ranges are a general guideline and not guaranteed or implied final compensation. Official compensation will depend on position level, complexity, location, experience, education, certifications, federal contract categories, and wage rates.
