Seeking a talented SharePoint Developer to play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and enhancing DoD SharePoint environments within mission-critical operations.

Your Role:
In this role, you will work in close partnership with customers, gathering requirements, building custom SharePoint solutions, and ensuring the applications run seamlessly. From creating custom lists and workflows to troubleshooting performance issues, you’ll play a hands-on role in ensuring smooth operations across the enterprise.
Key Role Responsibilities:
Collaborate cross-functionally to understand project needs, translating requirements into effective SharePoint solutions such as custom libraries, workflows, and advanced configurations.
Develop, test, and deploy SharePoint applications, ensuring an error-free user experience and minimizing downtime during critical deployments.
Monitor SharePoint environments daily, proactively addressing both performance issues and potential system bottlenecks before they escalate.
Drive the architecture and implementation of system enhancements, integrating third-party tools and leveraging Active Directory/LDAP for seamless collaboration across the platform.
Prepare systems for increased usage, executing plans for COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) upgrades while minimizing disruption to users.
Produce detailed documentation outlining configurations, processes, and system changes, ensuring smooth transitions for all users and stakeholders.
Lead efforts to assess and mitigate the impact of system upgrades on SharePoint and related applications, prioritizing the end-user experience throughout the process.
Provide timely solutions to emerging requirements, with a focus on mission-critical operations, ensuring that any new features or fixes integrate smoothly into the existing architecture.
Conduct comprehensive testing to verify that all system changes perform as intended, ensuring a high level of quality before deployment.
Create and deliver user training as needed, empowering end-users to effectively manage and maximize the use of the solutions provided.
Required Tech Skills:
4+ years of experience with Sharepoint
Experience working with C#
Experience with Sharepoint upgrades for seamless performance functionality when it comes to new or modified COTS application upgrades and integration
Required (Soft Skills):
Someone who is self-driven, innovative, forward-thinking, and willing to embrace and tackle solution challenges
Someone who enjoys brainstorming, presenting, and collaborating with teams to come up with modern scalable solutions
Someone who is committed to identifying areas for improvement and opportunity, leveraging software integrations that would provide more robust functionality
Motivation and determination to see the modernization mission succeed
Ability to clearly communicate complex solution concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Degree (or experience) Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field, with 6+ years of professional experience - (OR) - 10 years of professional experience in a related field, in lieu of a degree

(NOT REQUIRED, but Desired):
4+ years of experience working with .NET frameworks, jQuery, SQL, and Web Services
UX/UI design experience, able to enhance usability and the overall user experience
Experience implementing and upgrading Sharepoint environments for modernized Government environments that are implementing custom and new COTS applications
A passionate and confident Sharepoint Developer able to work cross-functionally who thinks like a Solutions Architect and end-user, able to communicate concepts clearly and effectively
