Solutions Architect

The PLM Solution Architect is responsible for driving enterprise-wide Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutioning initiatives across business, technology, and operations. This role owns the PLM design roadmap, and execution, ensuring alignment with business strategy, digital transformation goals, and product innovation outcomes.

• Business & Stakeholder Leadership
  • Act as a trusted advisor to executive sponsors and senior leadership
  • Translate business needs into scalable PLM capabilities
  • Lead cross-functional workshops covering requirements, design, and change readiness
  • Manage stakeholders across R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, and IT
• Technology & Architecture
  • Lead selection, implementation, and rollout of PLM platforms such as:
  • PTC Windchill
  • Oracle / SAP PLM
  • CAD/CAE/CAM integrations
  • ERP, MES, ALM, and SCM integrations
  • Digital Thread / Digital Twin strategies
  • Partner with enterprise and solution architects on system design
• Change Management & Adoption
  • Lead organizational change management for PLM transformation
  • Drive user adoption, training strategies, and communication plans
  • Establish PLM Centers of Excellence (CoE) and support models
  • Measure adoption, PLM value realization, and continuous improvement

• Strong expertise in PLM platforms and ecosystems
• Deep understanding of engineering and product development processes
• Experience with large-scale digital / ERP / PLM transformations
• Strong program and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent communication and executive presentation skills

• Data governance, master data, and interoperability standards

• Proven leader capable of influencing without authority

The expected salary range for this position is between $71,000 to $1,36,500 annually. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
