Job Overview
Scrum Master – DEWALT Construction Technology
Responsibilities- Facilitate Scrum Events: organize and lead sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coach Agile Practices: guide the team and organization on using Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers.
- Remove Impediments: proactively identify and eliminate obstacles that hinder progress.
- Support Product Owner: assist with backlog management, refinement, and prioritization.
- Foster
Collaboration:
promote effective communication and collaboration within the team and with stakeholders. - Promote Continuous Improvement: encourage a culture of learning and adaptation by helping the team reflect and improve processes.
- Ensure Quality Delivery: help the team deliver high‑quality, secure, and scalable software solutions in a cloud environment within established release timelines.
- Champion Agile Mindset: advocate for Agile values and principles across the team and organization.
- 7+ years as a Scrum Master or similar Agile role in software development environments.
- Strong knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, and backlog refinement.
- Experience tracking and reporting sprint progress, team velocity, and performance metrics.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira; responsible for administering the scrum board and ensuring tickets remain updated.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and servant‑leadership skills.
- Proven ability to resolve conflicts and remove obstacles, preventing over‑commitment and scope creep.
- Ability to guide teams to deliver high‑quality code and services through time‑boxed iterations/sprints.
- Experience working with distributed, cross‑functional teams.
- Ability to promote Agile values of transparency, inspection, and adaptation.
- Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS preferred) and secure software development practices is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or similar certification is highly desirable.

$90,000.00 – $ per year, depending on location, experience and qualifications.
