Transactional Attorney

A growing and well-established general business law firm based in Towson, Maryland is seeking a Transactional Attorney with a strong tax background to join our expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to build a long-term career with a collaborative and entrepreneurial group that serves clients across industries in business, tax, real estate, and estate planning matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on tax-efficient structuring of corporate, partnership, and real estate transactions
• Draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, business formation documents, and related transactional agreements
• Collaborate on mergers and acquisitions, business succession planning, and asset sales
• Provide tax guidance on business transactions and estate planning strategies
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on federal and state tax issues

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice in Maryland (or able to waive in)
• 2+ years of transactional experience, including a focus on corporate, tax, or real estate matters
• LL.M. in Taxation preferred but not required
• Strong drafting, communication, and analytical skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset and a desire to grow within a dynamic practice
