We are seeking a motivated attorney at any stage of practice, whether you are a recent graduate, early in your career, or a seasoned attorney looking for a meaningful change. - Meet with clients and guide them through the bankruptcy process
- Draft Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 petitions and related filings
- Appear at bankruptcy hearings and meetings of creditors
- Communicate with clients, trustees, creditors, and opposing counsel
- Draft motions, responses, and client correspondence
- Proactively manage cases to help clients obtain their discharge
- Travel to court hearings in Maryland as needed
- Genuinely motivated to help people through difficult financial situations
- Detail‑oriented and thorough in your work
- Comfortable communicating with clients and building rapport
- Self‑motivated and eager to learn a specialized practice area
- Open to feedback and committed to continuous improvement
- Organized and able to manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Comfortable working in person at our Towson, MD office
Bankruptcy experience is not required. We are happy to train the right person who shows strong initiative and the right mindset.
Qualifications- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Admitted to the Maryland Bar (or eligible for admission)
- Admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland (or eligible)
- Willing and able to work in person in Towson, MD
- Willing to travel locally for court appearances
- Strong technology skills (Microsoft Office required; Best Case, PACER, or CRM experience is a plus)
$75,000 – $85,000 annually
, depending on experience
