Pay Range$21.00/hr - $23.75/hr
Responsibilities- Oversee, manage, and maintain mechanical/electronic arcade equipment.
- Repair and maintain facility equipment, ensuring sanitation and operating proficiency.
- Assist with planning and budgeting for repairs/upgrades and perform administrative duties.
- Travel may be required.
- Provide tasks to team appropriately depending on the condition of the facility, including bowling, arcade and Spo-cha machines.
- Follow up to complete any assigned work.
- Ensure equipment is serviced and maintained at the highest level of operating proficiency.
- Identify and suggest repairs or replacements to the General or Sr. General Manager for approval.
- Train other mechanics in safety procedures and standards of operation for all equipment, building maintenance, and preventative maintenance programs.
- Ensure compliance with laws and policies, including OSHA safety practices.
- Respond to error calls for bowling, Spo-cha, or arcade issues.
- Conduct inventory of all facility equipment.
- Keep a clean and organized workshop.
- Work varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
- Manage installation, maintenance, and repairs of both mechanical and electronic issues in arcade machines.
- Transport machines and ensure proper assembly using appropriate tools.
- Complete mechanic training programs for the position.
- Obtain bids for regular and emergency repairs within budget proposal.
- Monitor and schedule maintenance of HVAC, roof, plumbing, electrical, life/safety systems, and other building systems.
- Perform other facility maintenance and repair tasks.
- Identify common issues with controls and audio systems.
- Control alcohol and age restrictions per company policies.
- Maintain high ethical standards.
- Report irregular issues to general management.
- Communicate effectively with employees and external contacts.
- Maintain confidentiality of all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe working area.
Facilities Managers must possess strong customer service and interpersonal skills, high integrity, and respect for all individuals. Good communication, critical analysis, and appreciation for diversity are required.
Education and ExperienceTwo years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is preferred.
Work EnvironmentRegular work in a bowling center/arcade environment with high levels of noise, dust, and activity.
Physical DemandsWork requires bending, stretching, twisting, climbing, and high mobility in small spaces. Includes standing, walking, hand/finger use, and lifting up to 100 lbs with assistance.
