Yard Foreman​/Forewoman

About the Position

Pool Transport is looking for an experienced Yard Foreman/Forewoman for their Worcester branch. This role involves supervising general workers, managing yard operations, and maintaining a high standard of customer service.

• Supervise General Workers and allocate tasks.
• Manage day-to-day yard operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the yard.
• Ensure timely execution of Fleet Managers' instructions.
• Supervise cargo loading.
• Complete and manage required paperwork and documentation.
• Monitor employee performance.
• Maintain discipline and compliance.
• Resolve operational issues efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Ensure client requirements and procedures are followed.

• Grade 12 / Matric qualification.
• Prior supervisory experience in a related field.
• Valid Code EB / B driver's licence.
• Computer literate.
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
• Additional language skills preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.

The ideal candidate will be residing in the Worcester area with supervisory experience, strong interpersonal skills, and a focus on safety and customer service.
