Marketing Operations ManagerAs the Marketing Operations Manager, you will be a critical member of the marketing team, owning the data and digital processes that power our marketing activities. You will ensure that the underlying marketing technical infrastructure operates in alignment with our overall goals and that our campaigns, lead generation, and customer engagement efforts are guided by timely, actionable data. You will partner with Marketing leadership, Sales Operations, and others across the organization to ensure that Marketing is able to engage the right prospects and customers, and deliver segmented, targeted campaigns.
We're looking for a big-picture thinker and a hands-on operator who can help translate marketing strategy into technical execution.
- Enablement:
Regularly inform and train the marketing team on processes, workflows, and data reporting. Collaborate with marketing managers on reporting and campaign analysis. - Campaign Infrastructure:
Power the processes and systems that result in consistent campaign execution. Ensure across channels that campaign audiences are segmented and targeted appropriately, partner with campaign marketers to develop segmentation and campaign structure, then provide segmented lists, UTMs and other tracking URLs, webinar setup, and other key data and tools to enable campaign success. - Marketing Analytics and Data Systems:
Own the data infrastructure that informs day-to-day marketing decision making, ensuring the team has access to timely, relevant information. Collaborate with internal data warehouse and IT on data hygiene and data sources. - Lead Management:
Manage lead scoring and flow prior to sales handoff. Monitor and optimize lead scoring and processes, ensuring that high quality leads are prioritized and nurtured, and that marketing is delivering leads that convert to active pipeline. Ensure that all lead sources, including trade shows and other non-web sources, are uploaded and put into lead flow in a timely manner. Partner with sales operations to ensure a smooth lead handoff and appropriate follow up procedures. - Marketing Automation:
Identify, Build, and Optimize lead workflows. Monitor lead collection and nurturing to identify opportunities for growth in MQLs and optimizing MQL - closed won process - Marketing Technology Management:
Serve as the Technical Administrator for Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement (Pardot). Ensure email campaigns are appropriately structured and segmented. Maintain clean contact data and data infrastructure. Partner with the Salesforce Administrator and Sales Operations to ensure data alignment between sales and marketing.
- 5+ Years Experience in a Marketing Operations role
- Strong experience in an organization using Salesforce. Experience as the primary administrator for a marketing automation system (Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, Hubspot, Marketo, etc). Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) Certification strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Deep knowledge of marketing processes, commitment to delivering high quality leads that convert to pipeline.
- Preferred:
Experience with the school district sales cycle & marketing to K-12 schools and districts.
