Travel RN - Psychiatric

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Behavioral Health (Psychiatric) position at a psychiatric facility, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and availability for night shifts on a 13-week contract.

Job Details

• Work is in a 337-bed inpatient psychiatric facility specializing in Trauma Disorders,

• Night shift position, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-07:30),

• Every other weekend required,

• Floating required across any age population when scheduling demands,

• No on-call responsibilities,

• Charting is done using Sunrise EMR,

• Free parking is available on campus,

• Local candidates are accepted,

Job Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license required,

• Current BLS certification required,

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required,

• Behavioral health or psychiatric nursing experience required,

• Driver's license (DL) and Social Security card (SSN) copies required for consideration,

• Two professional references required for consideration,

• Fingerprinting must be completed in Maryland prior to start,

Additional Information

• RNs may be required to serve in a charge nurse role during assigned shifts,

• Scrub color requirement:
Navy Blue,

• Up to 1 pre-approved RTO allowed for the duration of the contract,
