Job Description:
This CVICU RN role offers the opportunity to work in a specialized cardiac intensive care setting, focusing on post‑op cardiac surgery patients such as CABG, MVR, and AVR. The night shifts are 12 hours long, giving you the chance to experience a quieter, more focused workload while managing patients with complex hemodynamics, inotropic support, and active management of cardiac output. You’ll be floating to MSICU as needed, handling high‑acuity situations, including ECMO, Impella, and open‑chest cases.
This assignment combines the challenge of critical care with the reward of making a real difference during pivotal moments of recovery, all within a bustling cardiac ICU environment.
Location:
Towson, Maryland
Shift: 12‑hour nights (19:00 – 07:30)
Duration: 13 weeks
Hours:
36 hours per week, averaging three shifts
