Travel Registered Nurse - Med Surg/Telemetry

This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The Registered Nurse is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by themselves or those under their direction, utilizing specialized knowledge, judgment, and skills to provide appropriate care based on patients' physical and developmental ages.

This is a night shift position from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with 36 hours guaranteed per week.

• Assess nursing care needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Implement and evaluate nursing interventions and document outcomes.
• Oversee the delivery of nursing services by supporting team members.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice.
• Provide care for patients, including those recovering from strokes, and manage telemetry patients as needed.

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Med Surg/Telemetry nursing.
• At least 2 years of experience working with stroke patients.
• Must be willing to obtain NIHSS Certification within 48 hours of being offered the position.
• Must be willing to take mRS/SIREN Certification within 48 hours of being offered the position.
• Current RN license in the state of Maryland; verification must be less than 30 days old.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19; declinations will not be accepted.

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
