GBMC Health Care in Towson, MD is seeking a Safe Nurse for the Emergency Department SAFE Program to provide comprehensive forensic nursing care to sexual assault victims ages 13 and older under minimal supervision.
The role includes physical and psychological assessment, crisis intervention, evidence collection, STI/pregnancy prevention, and coordination with law enforcement and court processes. A specialized SAFEs nurse examiner training is required; MD RN licensure and CPR are essential.
