Registered Nurse

We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in behavioral health. This position is located in a high acuity adolescent neuropsychiatry unit. The unit primarily serves patients with nonverbal autism. Experience with high acuity neuropsych populations is preferred. This role involves providing comprehensive care to adolescent and pediatric patients. The nurse will need to float to other areas as required by scheduling.

The work schedule includes two 16-hour shifts from 3 PM to 7 AM on weekends. The nurse will manage a patient ratio of 6:1. Charge nurse responsibilities may be assigned during shifts without additional pay. Candidates must possess a strong background in working with developmental disabilities and cognitive disorders. All candidates must pass a drug screening to be eligible for employment.

Floating to various populations within the facility is expected based on scheduling needs. RTO must be pre-approved before submission. Modules will be completed during the orientation process and annually.
