Licensed Practical Nurse

The Licensed Practical Nurse provides bedside nursing care, administers routine medications, monitors vital signs, and documents patient progress under the direct supervision of an RN or physician.

About the opportunity

Collect clinical data, record vital signs, and report changes in patient condition to the supervising RN.Administer approved oral, topical, and intramuscular medications and routine wound dressings.

Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal hygiene needs.

Place and monitor urinary catheters, collect laboratory specimens, and assist with clinical procedures.

Reinforce patient discharge instructions and wellness guidance established by the care team.

• Education:
  
  Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program.
• Licensure:
  Active LPN license issued by the Maryland Board of Nursing (MBON) or valid Compact LPN license.
• Certifications:
  
  Current BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
• Experience:
  
  1+ years of experience in long-term care, outpatient clinic, or sub-acute facility preferred
