We are seeking a dependable and motivated Lawn Care Applicator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and effective delivery of turf treatment services, including fertilization, weed control, and other related applications to residential and commercial lawns. The Lawn Care Applicator plays a critical role in ensuring the health and appearance of client lawns while maintaining company standards for safety, efficiency, and professionalism.

Turf Services & Application

• Apply turf and plant treatments safe and efficiently
• Ensure every lawn is treated using the correct rates and materials
• Complete services on time and according to schedule
• Identify various weeds and insects

Compliance & Recordkeeping

• Maintain all required licenses and certifications
• Attend continuing education classes to stay certified
• Accurately record all material usage and service details for federal, state, and MDA compliance
• Keep MSDS sheets, soil samples, and paperwork up-to-date and organized

Communication & Reporting

• Send daily email updates with job status, performance notes, and upcoming schedule
• Work closely with Account Managers to share site conditions or service delays
• Coordinate with the Maintenance Division Manager for scheduling and route optimization

Inventory & Equipment

• Monitor and manage turf materials—both on trucks and in storage
• Ensure correct usage rates for each product, each day
• Maintain sprayers, tools, PPE, and trucks in clean, working condition
• Keep storage areas labeled and organized

Planning & Documentation

• Prepare job maps, planners, and service paperwork before each workday
• Submit accurate timesheets with material logs, site photos, and crew notes
• Clock in on-site using LMN to maintain GPS and work records

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to drive company vehicles between job sites. Must pass DOT Certification requirements
• Previous lawn care, landscaping, or pesticide application experience preferred
• Working knowledge of turf care practices, including fertilization and weed control
• Ability to obtain or currently hold a state pesticide applicator license (license preferred or willingness to obtain)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for basic recordkeeping and documentation
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively with minimal supervision
• Effective verbal and written communication skills required to interact with managers, coworkers, and customers in a professional manner
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods of time
• Snow Operations are considered an EMERGENCY service;
  Participation during every event is required.
