As a Fine Jewelry Sales Colleague, you provide outstanding customer service in our Fine Jewelry and Watch Complex, creating shopping experiences that make every customer feel welcomed, comfortable, and valued. You bring elegance, expertise, and personalized service to every interaction, helping customers find the perfect piece to celebrate life’s special moments.
With a passion for fine craftsmanship and a deep understanding of precious metals, gemstones, and luxury brands, you continually demonstrate superior product knowledge to educate and assist customers in selecting items that suit their tastes, preferences, and budgets. You focus on building lasting client relationships through consultative selling, genuine hospitality, and active use of our clientele program.
In addition to meeting sales goals, other key responsibilities include promoting our loyalty and warranty programs, supporting inventory and fulfillment activities, and supporting special events. You also ensure the security, accuracy, and impeccable presentation of merchandise. You’ll work closely with your team to achieve sales goals, support special events, and uphold operational excellence in all aspects of the Fine Jewelry department.
Day-to-DayResponsibilities
- Begin each day energized and ready to make an impact, wearing name badge with pride and greeting teammates with a warm hello.
- Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and prepared for customers; review sales goals, learn about new arrivals and top-selling items, and stay updated on current trends and promotions.
- Focus on the customer—offer a warm welcome, make eye contact, and create friendly, personal conversations to build repeat relationships.
- Maintain a shoppable space by ensuring proper processing, presentation, organization, storing, and replenishment of stock; update signs and pricing, and support merchandise moves.
- Finish strong: share loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have all they need, and end with a thank‑you, using the customer’s name when possible.
- Support one another with honesty, care, and collaboration to serve customers and communities better.
- Strive for continuous improvement, take pride in work, achieve sales goals, and learn from others to deliver results.
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays with reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Strong communication skills: able to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co‑workers, and supervisors.
- Understand employment policies, safety rules, and procedures; read and understand in English.
- Provide product recommendations, assistance with fittings and digital shopping tools, and create a welcoming, knowledgeable, and supportive shopping experience.
- Drive sales and operational excellence by leveraging product knowledge, participating in vendor training and events, using point‑of‑sale tools effectively, and ensuring accurate stock presentation, replenishment, and asset protection compliance.
- Drive sales and client loyalty by maintaining an organized space, using clienteling tools to promote offers and launches, participating in sales events, and staying up to date with ongoing training and vendor education.
- Achieve client and protection plan goals in addition to sales goals.
- Acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits.
- Meet and surpass daily sales goals by delivering exceptional service.
- Use point‑of‑sale technology and digital tools to streamline transactions and enhance the shopping experience.
- Possess 1–2 years of related experience.
Physical Requirements
- Talking, lifting, constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands.
- Stand for at least two consecutive hours; lift at least 25 lbs.; stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and reach above eye level.
- Require close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment, cash register, and processing register transactions.
