As a Security Officer Healthcare Patrol in Towson, MD
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, staff, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. In a caring, fast-paced environment, you will bring reliability, integrity, and teamwork to each shift while helping create a welcoming experience for everyone on site.

Fri 02:00 PM - 10:15 PM
Sat 02:00 PM - 10:15 PM

What You'll Do
  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas, assisting with visitor access, directional support, and adherence to site rules and healthcare location protocols.
  • Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with patients, staff, and visitors, and by assisting with de-escalation during tense or emotionally charged situations.
Minimum Requirements
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • At least 2 years of service in a healthcare and/or medical-related field is required.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
