Manager – Asset Protection

• Supervise Asset Protection teams in the supported store
• Recruit, develop, and oversee performance of Asset Protection team members
• Manage Asset Protection team budgeting
• Execute the company shrinkage reduction strategy within the store/building
• Ensure employee safety and security
• Prevent theft and enhance company profitability
• Partner with cross-functional store leaders to support the retail asset protection business
• Lead by example and execute the organizational strategy set by the AP Division
• Develop relationships with Store Manager, Service Experience, Inventory Accuracy, and Human Resources teams
• Own building security and safety, educate the store on emergency preparedness, and assist employees during safety incidents
• Monitor and communicate reports to ensure AP incidents and cases are properly reported and documented
• Leverage data to identify trends and mitigate internal and external theft
• Lead execution of shrink programs, reduction plans, theft detection, and dishonesty prevention
• Support internal and external investigations, auditing, shortage reduction programs, AP awareness programs, and system controls
• Identify risks and mitigate issues that reduce loss and maximize profitability

• A valid security license is required for this role in Washington DC;
  Denver, Colorado;
  New York City, New York;
  St. Louis, Missouri; and Oregon
• Proven success in investigative, asset protection, and security procedures as well as prior AP leadership experience
• A comprehensive understanding of Exception Based Reporting tools and Case Management Software
• Ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with other employees and leaders
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with co-workers and customers
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills when in high stress situations
• Strong written communication skills
• Strong organizational, delegation and follow-through skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Computer proficiency, including use of monitoring and surveillance technologies
