UI​/UX Software Engineer

Overview

UI/UX Software Engineer at Cymertek Corporation. This role focuses on designing and developing intuitive, user-friendly software applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create seamless interfaces and optimize the user experience across platforms.

Clearance: TS/SCI Full Poly (Please note this position requires full U.S. Citizenship)

• Design and develop user interfaces for web and mobile applications
• Implement responsive design to ensure compatibility across devices
• Collaborate with product and design teams to refine user experience
• Optimize front-end performance for speed and scalability
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback from users
• Maintain design consistency and adhere to UI/UX best practices

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and Java Script
• Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular)
• Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles
• Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD)
• Ability to work with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Knowledge of responsive and mobile-first design principles

• Experience with UI prototyping and wire framing
• Knowledge of animation libraries (e.g., GSAP, Framer Motion)
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG)
• Experience with A/B testing and user research
• Proficiency in backend technologies (e.g., Node.js)
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and sprint cycles

Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience. General comment on degrees:
Many contracts allow 4-5 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
