You will help shape next-generation developer experiences by integrating AI-assisted tooling, automation, and agentic workflows that remove friction and elevate software quality across mission-critical environments.

Schedule: Full-time, mission-aligned hours

Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (required)

You design and implement AI-assisted IDE capabilities and internal developer tooling that streamline daily engineering workflows. You integrate agent-based systems to automate repetitive tasks such as code reviews, unit test generation, and code quality analysis. You experiment with autonomous and semi-autonomous agents that support software development activities end to end. You integrate new tools into existing development platforms and CI/CD pipelines.

You work closely with customers and teammates to gather feedback, iterate quickly, and refine solutions. You measure, document, and communicate the impact of tooling improvements to guide future enhancements.

Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (required).

Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline is required. Four additional years of relevant software engineering experience may be substituted for the degree. Eight or more years of software engineering experience supporting modern development workflows, tools, or platforms.

Strong software engineering skills in one or more modern programming languages. Experience working with IDEs, developer tools, or build and test systems. Hands-on experience using AI- or LLM-powered developer tools, including chat-based interfaces or automated coding agents. Ability to prototype, evaluate, and refine experimental tooling. Solid understanding of software development workflows, engineering best practices, and developer productivity challenges.

Experience with automated code review or static analysis tools. Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks or orchestration systems. Experience supporting developer platforms or internal engineering enablement teams. Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices. Experience developing VS Code extensions using Type Script or Electron.

This role touches modern programming languages, IDEs and developer tooling platforms, AI and LLM-powered developer assistants, agentic and autonomous systems, CI/CD pipelines, Dev Ops tooling, code quality and static analysis systems, and plugin or extension frameworks such as VS Code.

The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s background and suitability for the role. This range is intended as a guideline and is subject to flexibility.
