  • Architect, design, and implement scalable, maintainable front-end solutions using modern frameworks and component-based development approaches.
  • Translate prototypes, wireframes, and design specifications into responsive, accessible, and production-ready user interfaces.
  • Analyze user requirements to derive software design, performance, accessibility, and implementation requirements.

  • Establish and enforce front‑end coding standards, documentation practices, component reuse strategies, and software development process improvements.
  • Develop, modify, integrate, and test software components to meet design, performance, interface, and functional requirements.
  • Participate in sprint planning, technical estimation, architectural decision-making, and agile software development activities.
  • Ensure compliance with accessibility standards, including Section 508 and WCAG, throughout design and development.
  • Recommend new technologies, tools, and processes to improve complex software development efforts.
  • Oversee quality control of developed and modified software while coordinating programming and testing responsibilities across the team.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and 12+ years of software engineering experience; four additional years of relevant software engineering experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • Proven experience leading, mentoring, or providing technical direction to software development or UI/front‑end development teams.
  • Strong proficiency with modern front‑end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue, along with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive design, and component‑based architecture.
  • Experience developing, debugging, integrating, testing, and documenting software in complex environments while collaborating with users, system engineers, and technical stakeholders.
Desired Skills
  • Full‑stack development experience, including backend development with technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, databases, or deployment pipelines.
  • Experience working closely with UX/UI teams to implement accessible, user‑centered interfaces that align with design specifications and usability goals.
