CalPERS retirees cannot be in an on-call substitute pool. Violations could include repayment of your retirement benefits to PERS (reference CalPERS Publication 33 - Employment After Retirement). To comply with PERS, we are not able have retirees as active substitutes. Substitutes applications will be reviewed in the order they are received and processed as needed. Applying does not guarantee placement on the sub list or selection to participate in the hiring process.

Verification of 48 semester units or higher:
Copy of degree or transcripts with application documents. Or passing of the Para exam, administer by TUSD.If selected applicants will be required to provide TB clearance.
