Responsibilities
Must demonstrate a proven proficiency and competence in the responsibilities and tasks associated with the S/R Clerk 1, 2 and 3. Requires a deeper understanding, enhanced skills, and a track record of successful performance in the respective warehouse role, building upon the foundational knowledge acquired in the earlier stages. Furthermore, candidates should be prepared to assume additional responsibilities.
Picker Level 4- Cross-Training:
Cross-train in other warehouse roles (Receiver, Shipper, Inventory Control) to provide backup support during peak periods or absences. - Complex Order Fulfillment:
Handle more complex order types, such as customized orders or specialized packaging requirements, ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction.
- Inventory Auditing:
Conduct in-depth audits of specific inventory areas or categories to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and standards. - Inbound Analysis:
Assist in evaluating inbound performance metrics and collaborating with the Procurement team to optimize vendor relationships.
- Demand Forecasting:
Utilize advanced demand forecasting techniques and data analysis to anticipate inventory needs and optimize stock levels. - Resolve Discrepancies:
Apply advanced inventory investigation techniques to analyze system transactions, physical inventory and product specifications to resolve discrepancies.
- Returns Processing:
Manage the processing of returns from customers, ensuring items are inspected, documented, and restocked or disposed of appropriately. - Data Analysis and Performance Reporting:
Analyze KPI results to identify trends, patterns, and areas of on-time delivery improvement, and generate regular reports and dashboards showcasing On-Time Delivery Performance KPI and its variations over time.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to regularly lift, push, and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for a prolonged period.
- Must be able to effectively work within a team environment.
