Assistant Superintendent Multifamily Construction

a growing general contractor specializing in multifamily housing, is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to join their team onsite in Hollywood, Los Angeles, CA. This role supports the successful execution of a 100-unit mid-rise project, offering hands‑on field experience and a clear path toward Superintendent-level growth.

• Support daily onsite construction activities alongside the Lead Superintendent
• Coordinate subcontractors to ensure work aligns with project schedule and milestones
• Track jobsite productivity and help maintain efficient workflows
• Assist in managing project schedule, including deliveries, inspections, and trade sequencing
• Identify potential delays and communicate issues early to the project team
• Conduct site walks to verify work meets plans, specifications, and code requirements
• Assist with punch list tracking and closeout activities
• Promote and enforce jobsite safety standards and compliance
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and well‑run jobsite
• Track subcontractor manpower and provide daily field updates

• 5+ years of construction experience, preferably in multifamily projects
• Experience supporting mid‑rise, podium, or 5‑over‑1 construction
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and field coordination
• Ability to identify issues and elevate appropriately
• Experience with construction management software (Procore preferred)
• Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work full‑time onsite in Los Angeles

• Experience working on projects of similar size and scale (100+ units)
• Familiarity with Los Angeles building codes and inspection processes
• OSHA certification or formal safety training
• Ambition to grow into a Superintendent role

• Base salary of $100K - $120K plus bonus (DOE)
