Overview
Customer Service Agent (Onsite at Customer) – Full-time position. Compensation: USD 22 - USD 27 per hour.

Shiftand Location
Shift: Thursday – Monday, 6pm to 3am. Local applicants only.
Responsibilities- Ensure smooth and timely shipment process flow
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system based on defined metrics
- Track and trace shipments
- Provide proactive and clear communication to internal and external customers
- Ensure accurate and timely client billing, including dispute resolution
- Understand customer expectations to ensure all SOP and KPI requirements are met
- Ensure compliance with company policies and external regulations
- Complete cross training to support team coverage
- Represent Expeditors professionally to customers, service providers, and government agencies
- Provide exceptional customer service to external and internal customers
- Communicate with domestic customers and their offices
- Comply with customer requirements and procedures
- Prepare and process documentation
- Comply with all U.S. regulations
- Update shipment information in Expeditors systems
- Review documents for compliance
- Invoice customers accurately and timely for provided services
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills, including listening and clear communication
- Have warehouse/distribution center experience (shipping, receiving, inventory control)
- Have customer service experience
- Complete and pass required training courses
- Be pro-active with strong organizational skills
- Work well in a team environment
- Be authorized to work in the United States
- STA Clearance
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and adopt technology to optimize work
- Maintain a training standard of 52 hours per year, including mandatory trainings
- Drive and develop customer relationships to exceed expectations
- Show a sense of urgency and offer solutions
- Fully proficient with software applications (e.g., MS Office, Lotus Notes)
- Typing at least 30 wpm and 10-key by touch
- Able to identify opportunities for improvement and implement procedures
- DG Certification Required
- Ability to adapt to change and function effectively in a high-stress environment
- Compliance certifications required to perform duties (maintained)
- Intimate understanding of Export Compliance
- Must be authorized
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Must complete and pass training programs
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
