Requirements / Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Completed Edjoin Application.
• For educators:
  Transcripts from an accredited college reflecting 48 semester units or proof of passing the District’s proficiency exam. If an applicant does not have either, they will be contacted to schedule an appointment to complete the District’s proficiency exam.
• Applicants may choose to add to the minimum requirements by submitting a cover letter, resume, transcripts, certifications, etc.; however, these documents are not required.

For Para Educators, an exam is offered for selected candidates who do not hold a qualifying No Child Left Behind Certificate or a minimum of 48 semester units. The Para Educator Tutorial (study guide) for the exam can be found on the District's website. If you have NCLB Certification or Transcripts, please include a copy with your application.
