Requirements / Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Completed Edjoin Application for Educators
  • Transcripts from a college reflecting 48 semester units OR proof of passing the District’s proficiency exam

If you do not have either and your application is screened in, you will be contacted to schedule an appointment to complete the District’s proficiency exam. Please visit our website/HR tab for the Para Educator Tutorial.

Applicants may choose to add to the minimum requirements by submitting a cover letter, resume, transcripts, certifications, etc.; however these documents are not required.

How to Apply

If you are currently employed with the Tracy Unified School District under the same job assignment and have completed five (5) months of the probationary period, you may apply for a transfer. Please submit a letter of interest to the Human Resources Office to the attention of Tammy Jalique, Associate Superintendent of Human Resources. Please indicate your desire to transfer. Emailed requests will not be accepted.

In addition, please indicate your current site and work hours. The letter must be received in the Human Resources office by the closing date and time specified on the job posting.
