Special Education Instructional Aide
The job of a Special Education Instructional Aide is done for the purpose of providing support to the instructional program with specific responsibility for assisting in the supervision, care, and instruction of students with special needs in the general education setting or in a self-contained classroom; assisting in implementing plans for instruction; monitoring student behavior; and providing information to appropriate school personnel.
Behavior management skills and CPI training preferred, not required. Mild/Moderate SDC. Early Childhood college units preferred, not required. High School Diploma, GED, or highest degree earned.
TB screening results (if available, otherwise required at the time of employment.) CPR/First Aide Certification (if available, otherwise required at the time of employment.) DOJ Background Clearance
