Position: Classified: Modified Para Educator (Student Apprentice) Various Sites - Job #2546

Student Apprentice

Under the supervision of the classroom instructor, to serve as an assistant to teachers by aiding in the supervision and training of students and assisting in the preparation and assembling of teaching materials. Students will be assigned Work Experience courses for any time during the school day in which they are serving in the Student Apprentice role. Additional hours may be offered during Tracy Unified summer programs.

Minimum Requirements:

Must be a current 11th or 12th grade student within Tracy Unified School District to apply. Concurrent enrollment in Delta College courses required (free to the Student Apprentice). Administrator or Counselor Recommendation form must be completed before start date if offered a position. The Student Apprentice position is offered through a collaboration between Tracy Unified School District, San Joaquin County Office of Education, Delta College, and the California Division of Apprenticeship Standards.
