Job Summary:We are now accepting applications for a dynamic and passionate Science Teacher for the 2025–26 school year. This role will serve students in grades 5 through 8, with a focus on building foundational knowledge and inquiry-based skills across life, earth, and physical sciences. Applicants with a Single Subject Science Credential are highly encouraged to apply. Multiple Subject Credential holders with a strong interest in science instruction and internship candidates working toward their credentials will also be considered.

Essential Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver engaging science instruction aligned with NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards).
- Differentiate curriculum and instruction to meet a wide range of learners.
- Incorporate hands-on experiments, lab work, and technology into science learning.
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that supports inquiry and critical thinking.
- Participate in school-wide professional development, collaboration, and ongoing assessment practices.
- Communicate regularly with students, families, and team members to support academic and behavioral progress.
- Uphold school policies and foster a positive school culture.
Qualifications:
- Valid California Single Subject Science Credential
- OR California Multiple Subject Credential with strong science instruction experience
- Classroom experience working with upper elementary or middle school students preferred
