Equipment Engineer
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Wafer Fab Equipment Engineer/Technician to join our semiconductor manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing our existing semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Your expertise will ensure that manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely, contributing directly to the quality and reliability of our semiconductor products.
Responsibilities- Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and repair of a variety of wafer fabrication equipment, including photolithography equipment, photoresist spin coaters, metrology tools, wet benches, SRDs, PVD metal sputtering systems, horizontal diffusion furnaces, and LPCVD systems.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues using root cause analysis techniques to minimize downtime and optimize throughput.
- Maintain records and logs of maintenance activities.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or factory environment with industrial equipment maintenance or engineering support.
- Hands-on experience with electrical, analog/digital signals, mechanical, and vacuum troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with medical devices, electrical, and industrial equipment.
- Experience working on a wide array of machines beyond just operation, including troubleshooting both new and legacy machines.
- Knowledge in quality assurance, support, quality systems, troubleshooting, validation, quality engineering, equipment engineering, and regulatory compliance.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tracy, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.65 - $38.40/hr.
