Seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality, hands‑on care in accordance with professional standards and regulatory guidelines. This role involves evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, supervising support staff, and maintaining accurate documentation. The ideal candidate will be committed to patient outcomes, effective communication, and fostering positive relationships with patients, caregivers, and clinical teams.
Essential Functions- Adhere to all state‑specific Physical Therapy Practice Acts and supervise assistants and aides as permitted.
- Follow internal clinical operations policies and procedures.
- Complete all required Medicare compliance and OSHA training annually.
- Evaluate, treat, and manage patients requiring physical therapy services with a clear demonstration of medical necessity.
- Develop, document, and update treatment goals and plans, ensuring alignment with patient progress and functional improvement.
- Accurately and promptly complete all documentation including daily notes, pre‑authorizations, physician reports, and billing.
- Maintain open, respectful communication with colleagues, patients, physicians, and external partners.
- Attend facility meetings such as utilization review and infection control as required.
- Complete continuing education requirements to maintain licensure.
- Maintain current CPR certification in compliance with state regulations.
- Use time effectively to meet productivity standards.
- Participate in clinical in‑services and contribute to team education initiatives.
- Stay informed of developments in healthcare and physical therapy practice.
- Take ownership of key operational tasks or clinical initiatives as assigned.
- Perform additional duties or projects as requested by leadership.
- Team‑oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
- Leadership capability to guide assistants and aides in delivering care.
- Strong planning, organizational, and time‑management skills.
- Effective clinical problem‑solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with clinical documentation and basic computer programs.
- Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program (CAPTE or equivalent for international applicants).
- Active state licensure or registration as a Physical Therapist.
