Position SummaryA regional Field Service Technician will perform field service activities for all local Orange EV vehicles, diagnosing, repairing, and providing root cause analysis. They will evaluate Remote Monitoring System data, record service activities, collaborate with customers and third-party providers, support sales and marketing, perform upgrades, and manage tool and parts warehousing.
Responsibilities- Understand the vehicle systemically to diagnose and repair efficiently
- Represent Orange EV professionally
- Use Remote Monitoring and Service Record systems to determine service plans and prioritize needs
- Record all activity accurately
- Communicate with customers and third-party providers for diagnosis and issue escalation
- Coordinate with site manager and electrician on charging infrastructure logistics
- Evaluate conversion vehicle candidates and prepare reports
- Support customer technicians and third-party providers with ancillary repairs
- Provide secure storage for tools, parts, and items
- Deliver operator and maintenance training plus sales and business development support
- Travel as required for training and to meet service team goals
- High school diploma; related technical degree preferred
- 1+ years’ automotive or electrical industry experience
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams)
- Knowledge of customer service principles and processes
- Analytical problem‑solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 75–100 lbs and perform physical tasks (squat, sit, climb, etc.)
- Ability to handle multiple functions and adjust to changing priorities
Ability to set and prioritize goals and meet schedules - Strong written communication skills
