Compensation: $110,000–$130,000 annually, depending on experience

A well-established manufacturing company in the Central Valley is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations and drive performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives. This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing production teams, improving operational efficiency, and supporting continued company growth.
Position OverviewThe Production Manager will oversee all aspects of the production process, ensuring operations run efficiently while maintaining high standards for quality, productivity, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader with strong manufacturing experience, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to effectively manage teams in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the entire production process from start to finish
- Monitor workflow, production schedules, and operational performance
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks and disruptions
- Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors and team members
- Establish performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback
- Support hiring, training, employee development, and performance management activities
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing principles
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Engineering, Maintenance, Sales, Customer Service, and other departments
- Develop, track, and report on daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs
- Promote a culture focused on safety, quality, accountability, and teamwork
- Ensure production goals are achieved while maintaining operational efficiency
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 4–10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience
- Proven experience managing production teams in a manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
- Experience utilizing ERP systems and Microsoft Office programs
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies preferred
- Experience with in woodworking, cabinetry, millwork, or related manufacturing environments is highly preferred
