Production Packaging Associate - 1st Shift

75 W Valpico Road, Tracy, California 95376.

Work Shift:

8hr‑1st Shift.

The Production Packaging Associate is an entry‑level position responsible for proper packaging of materials and finished products. This role includes loading, moving materials, operating packaging equipment, and following Good Manufacturing Practices.

• Demonstrates safe work practices by wearing correct PPE and following safety policies.
• Demonstrates punctuality and adheres to the work schedule.
• Demonstrates a teamwork attitude by working well and effectively with others.
• Adheres to company General Manufacturing Policies.
• Keeps the work area neat, clean, and organized.
• Monitors conveyor belts and clears bottle jams from lines.
• Pick ups dropped bottles from production floor and places them into designated bins.
• Places discarded bottles into grinder, if applicable.
• Inspects the quality of bottles during production, packaging, and labeling.
• Performs bottle inspections, such as drop tests for designated lines.
• Immediately escalates all bottle abnormalities, defects and quality issues when found.
• Monitors supply levels of packaging materials and replenishes as needed.
• Ensures correct labeling, bottle description and packaging in accordance with specific customer requirements.
• Moves finished goods to designated area.
• Ensures efficient set‑up and organization of workstations.
• Maintains inventory levels and restocks supplies as needed to facilitate smooth transitions between shifts.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

• Basic mathematical skills.
• Basic computer experience.
• Prefer High School diploma or GED.

Completion of Altium Production/Packaging Associate I training within 90 days of hire date.

Must frequently stand, walk, use hands to grasp, handle, or feel; reach out, over and below with hands and arms. Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequently required to lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 50 pounds.

• Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts in a production environment.
• Noise level usually loud.
• Temperatures inside the plant fluctuate between hot and cold according to seasonal changes.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in the production department and other designated areas.

Targeted Pay Rate: $20.25 per hour.
