Multi-Purpose Clerk Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Center Store/Front End – Operate the check stand, memorize PLU codes, order, receive, unload, stock and rotate product onto shelves, merchandise, and perform POS and inventory activities.
• Produce – Receive, inspect and log products; trim, wash, wrap produce; stock, rotate, merchandise; maintain floral area inside and outside; keep all areas and equipment clean.
• Meat/Seafood – Receive, inspect, log products; weigh, wrap/package, label for display; stock, rotate, merchandise; provide customer service at seafood counter; take special orders; operate slicers and wrappers; keep all areas and equipment clean.
• Bakery/Deli – Receive, inspect, log products; prepare, weigh, package, label products; stock, rotate, merchandise baked goods and deli products; take special orders; operate ovens, proofers, slicers, mixers; keep all areas and equipment clean.
• Janitorial – Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout store; sweep and mop sales floor, front end, back rooms, refrigerated areas; clean restrooms, break room, office areas, shelving, front end equipment, shopping carts, vending machines; clean front of store, parking lot, empty trash; may operate scrubbers and buffers.
• Pharmacy – Operate pharmacy register; take prescriptions; handle completed orders; maintain cleanliness; maintain confidentiality.
• All departments – Sweep and mop sales floor, front end, back rooms, refrigerated areas; may operate forklift if authorized; may operate baler if authorized; perform other duties as assigned.

$17.15 - $26.20

• At least 18 years of age.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency and self‑motivation.
• Proactive, enthusiastic, and flexible on the job.

High School Diploma (or GED) or additional job experience.

Six months of related experience.

Must be available to work a variety of required retail hours; must be at least 18 years of age.

Requires standing and other physical movements on a frequent basis; requires lifting up to 40 lbs. without assistance.
