Gladden Equipment Erectors offers mechanical contracting services, equipment installations, fabrication, engineering, and construction management expertise to large‑scale food and beverage packaging and processing manufacturers. • Perform tasks involving physical labor on heavy construction projects, operating hand and power tools.
• Clean and prepare sites, assist in installing conveyor systems, safety guarding, platforms and catwalks, and remove debris and waste materials.
• Assist other workers as needed.
• Prepare a clean job site by picking up tools and equipment each day to eliminate hazards.
• Handle materials storage, loading and unloading trucks, hauling and hoisting materials.
• Follow safety and incident reporting procedures, and report problems to the project supervisor or safety manager.
• Perform lifts and heavy handling tasks, walk and stand for long periods, and exhibit good manual dexterity and coordination.

• Full‑time; days and hours vary depending on customer needs. Frequent long hours and weekend work are common.
• Travel: requires frequent travel, more than 75% travel; most travel is outside the local area and involves overnight stays.

While performing the duties of this job, employees are frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, vibration, and extreme conditions. Noise levels can be loud. Employees work near moving mechanical parts and in outdoor conditions that include inclement weather, heat, humidity, dust, and asphalt.

This position requires the ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods, perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions, use fine motor skills and coordination, and maintain excellent stamina.

• High school diploma or GED, or 3–6 months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Fabrication certificate from a trade school.
• 3–6 months of work experience in a fabrication shop.
• Valid driver’s license.
