Field Service Technician (Stockon, CA or Tracy, CA)

Join our growing Field Service team as a mechanized technician responsible for completing planned and reactive service operations on generators. You will train at our headquarters in Menlo Park, CA, and be assigned to a specific service region, traveling as needed. The role plays a key part in maintaining system uptime, availability, and performance for deployed units.

• Mechanically repair and maintain generator components and assemblies, following procedures and checklists to meet customer requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers to diagnose, repair, and redesign components.
• Conduct mechanical inspections of deployed units and document condition information for debugging and troubleshooting.
• Be available for rotational on‑call shifts according to the written schedule to support customers.

• Minimum of 3 years of mechanical assembly and/or repair experience (automotive, aviation, HVAC, elevators, or other heavy‑equipment assembly is a plus).
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools (micrometers, bore gauges, gauge blocks, torque wrenches) and documentation of repairs.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and wear required PPE.
• Knowledge of basic tool use, including torque wrenches and torque specifications.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions on‑site.
• Excellent communication skills; familiarity with Google Workspace is a plus.
• Team‑oriented, self‑motivated, and safety‑oriented mindset.
• Valid driver’s license required;
  Class A commercial driver’s license preferred.
