Position Description

Ryder is hiring Material Handlers in Tracy, California—offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about.

• Hourly Pay: $23.00 per hour.
• Additional Pay: $0.50 per hour for 2nd shift hours and $1.50 per hour when working shifts on Saturday and Sunday.
• Schedules: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM, 5 days per week, multiple schedules available including weekend days.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to work within a diverse work environment.
• Highly thorough and dependable, punctual with good attendance.
• Performs work independently with minimal supervision.
• Possesses a high degree of initiative.
• Demonstrates high level of accuracy, even under pressure.
• Physical:
  Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs, stand long periods.
• Must be available to work flexible schedule on various shifts.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices.

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Ensure accurate picking and packing, audit processes.
• Handle paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, bills of lading.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
• Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
